IO NON SCLERO is an informative campaign that raises awareness on multiple sclerosis (MS).
Developed together with the Italian Multiple Sclerosis Society (AISM) and supported by the Italian Society of Neurology, the project gives voice to patients and their families who want to share their experience of the disease. The project gathers testimony of patients’ broken dreams, their chance of recovery, their everyday battles and their therapies which are aimed at offering a lifestyle that is as normal as possible.
Regional and local centres that support patients with MS, the media and the general public were involved.
Started in 2014, this project has over the years given rise to numerous initiatives, especially in the field of communication: it has seen the launch of a new website and of a multi-episode web-series that tell patient’s stories.
Onda has also published a book, available both in paper format and online, that gathers the messages of patients in our Facebook community, and information provided by institutions, the scientific and NGO sectors.
After publishing a call to action to receive drawing and art works from patients, Onda has organised a travelling exhibition at hospitals with Bollini Rosa and at various cities around Italy where these works were displayed. An app was also especially created.
